How parents do not like what technology has done to their kids

My father is always complaining on the fact that this is a generation of kids who do not even read. He says that many kids including us are always on the internet and the internet has a way of stunting the growth of many kids when it comes to reading. He had even refused to buy us a computer and said that they would encourage us to be lazy. We would get penalized because of the papers that we could not type and take to school. He was called to school and was informed on our demeaning progress when it came to delivering our assignments. He was told that it was vital that we get a computer in the house because they were not going to tolerate our not submitting our assignments on time or even submitting them at all. He was even more appalled when he learned that he had to use online marketing to improve his business. He complained all the time he had to pay the monthly seo packages. As much as he changed because of his business, his opinions did not change.
