If you're trying to get your computer to run faster again, then the biggest thing that you can do is to clean it out. The biggest cause of slow system speeds, especially with Windows, is file clutter. Think of Windows as a desk if you have an extremely cluttered desk it's going to be hard to get any work done. Clear off the desk and you can work faster. The same holds true for your computer. So go in there and get rid of any excess software that you don't need. Get rid of browser toolbars, and run a malware scan. After all this, run a registry cleaner such as RegCure.
