Shaving with a Merkur Safety Razor

Are you tired of spending all that money on buying the latest plastic shaving gimick from Gillette? You need to try a Merkur safety razor. A Merkur safety razor uses traditional double edge razor blades. Safety razors have been around for over 100 years and the razors produced today are of an exceptional quality. Double edge razor blades can be bought for a fraction of the price of modern cartridge blades but they are significantly sharper and, with experience, can be used to get a much closer shave. You need to take care when shaving with a safety razor and you need to learn the technique otherwise you can cut yourself but once you get the hang of it you will find it just as easy as shaving with a plastic blade. As well as saving money and getting a closer shave you will reduce irritation on the skin after shaving and get less ingrowing hairs.
