Super quick turnaround needed on a passport

I am due to travel in about 3 days time for business. Massive problem though in that my passport has expired! i know i should have checked but it was just one of those things and it didn't cross my mind at the time. Looking at it now though it is long expired. Called the passport office to see about a quick renewing passport option and they could offer a day service but meant going to the office in person. This was not a major issue but it was a bit of a pain because im still at work and getting time off is not easy! i got all my documents ready to go and my pictures sorted it was just a case of getting to the office now. I was a bit confused when filling my forms in because it had been a while since i had to do anything like this but i managed it ok i think in the end. I have got my appointment tomorrow so wish me luck!! i think i will need it.
